Congratulations to the school football team who played six matches in the Mid Ulster League on a cold Thursday morning at Loughview. The boys won five out of their six matches and were unlucky to lose one nil to Dickson Primary School who scored with their only shot of the game.
Five goals from debutant Jacob Bell including a hatrick in the first game, four goals from Joel Clarke and two from Joel McAllister ensured there was a positive goal difference with only one goal scored against us. A special mention must go to primary four pupil Joel McAllister who defied his diminutive stature to regularly beat primary seven opponents almost three times his size!
The boys showed tremendous skill, good teamwork and great sportsmanship, always shaking hands with their opponents at the end of the game.
