School Council presented £300 for child sponsorship to the Needham family to support Divas at Kenya Sunbeam Ministries. The pupils of Howard P.S. raised the money during our recent non-uniform day. Rebekah spoke to us during Friday Assembly. She explained that Divas is 8 years old now and enjoys having fun with his friends-just like us. The sponsorship money will be used to pay for his school fees, study books, uniform, food and any medical expenses during the year. We were delighted to receive a special ‘Thank you’ card from Divas. The card is on display on our School Council noticeboard if anyone would like a closer look.
