This week in Forest School, we explored the fire triangle and discovered that a successful fire needs three key elements: oxygen, fuel, and heat. We talked about how each part of the triangle plays an important role in keeping a fire burning.
Safety was our top priority — everyone learned the golden rule of fire safety: never step inside the safety square! Once we understood how to stay safe and keep the fire going, we put our new knowledge into practice and enjoyed making delicious s’mores over the campfire. It was a wonderful mix of learning, teamwork, and a tasty treat to finish the day!
