As part of our Forest School lessons, P4/5 pupils took part in an exciting "Forest Business Challenge," transforming into young entrepreneurs in Twiggly Woods. Working in small teams, they created catchy and relevant business names and set up imaginative stalls using natural materials—offering products such as leaf art and stick sculptures. Pupils applied real-world maths skills to set prices, handle play money, and calculate profits, while also developing teamwork, communication, and creative thinking. Through trading with their peers and reflecting on their experiences, they gained a deeper understanding of money concepts. This engaging challenge was perfectly timed to support Number Confidence Week and Outdoor Classroom Day, making learning meaningful, memorable and fun.
