Forest School was particularly exciting this week as pupils had the opportunity to independently use flint and steel! Before beginning, we discussed how to hold the equipment safely and carefully went over all the important fire safety rules. Pupils showed great courage and perseverance as they took a safe risk in their learning—discovering that creating a spark isn’t as easy as it looks! It was wonderful to see everyone showing determination, focus, and teamwork throughout the session
