We continued our focus on measurement in Numeracy today with some hands-on learning outside! The class worked in two groups: one group joined Miss Cuddy to find objects of different lengths that matched given specifications, while the other group worked with Mrs Blair and Mrs Cardwell to estimate the circumference of tree trunks before measuring to check the accuracy of their predictions. It was a fantastic opportunity to apply our measuring skills in a real-world context — and enjoy some fresh air at the same time!
