As part of our Shared Education programme, pupils recently took part in a fun and engaging Speech and Language Day in school. The children were split across two classrooms, with one group focusing on attention and listening activities and the other developing language and communication skills.
Some activities included - playing memory games, playing spot the difference, using descriptive language/questions, following directions and practising our sounds.
Throughout the day, the pupils enjoyed the range of interactive tasks and games that helped build confidence and support these important skills. The children had so much fun and benefited greatly from the experience. A special thank you to Naomi Pollard for her support and help with planning the day.
