Evil Pea decided to freeze our carrot friends in blocks of ice! 🥕❄️
We became brave scientists and worked together to figure out the best way to free them. We talked about how ice melts and discovered that warming it up helps it turn back into water. We tried different methods: warm water, salt and even hammers!
The hammers were the fastest way to free our carrots, followed by warm water and then salt. Everyone got involved and loved the challenge!
Once the carrots were free, we quickly dried them off. Some children even wrapped them in paper towels because they were so cold- such kindness in P1E!
