After our numerous failed attempts to try to catch Evil Pea we decided to look back at our Supertato books to see how he had been caught before!
We decided to make jelly traps! We carefully made the jelly and used words like first, next and finally to explain each step. We also created our own picture instructions so that we could easily make more jelly if needed!
Once our traps were ready, we set them around the classroom and waited… and finally, we caught him!
There was so much excitement as we carried him carefully to Mrs McWilliams so that he could be locked away - never to return again!!
The children were so proud of their clever ideas, teamwork, and super detective skills.
