P1E Superhero Day 🦸🦹♀️
Today we had so much fun celebrating the end of our superhero topic!
This week out homework was to design and make a superhero cape. We were all amazed by the effort, creativity and imagination that had gone into each and every cape. They were truly incredible! The children proudly shared their capes with the class and told everyone about their unique superhero powers.
Next, it was time for superhero training! We took part in four exciting activities to practise our special skills:
1. Super Strength Training – We carried very heavy weights while carefully dodging cones along the way.
2. Super Jumps – We leapt from hoop to hoop, using our powers to avoid the “lava” below!
3. Super Speed Training – We raced up and down the ladders, practising our lightning-fast superhero speed.
4. Villain Capture Mission – Working together, we bounced all the villains out of the parachute to save the day!
After all that training, we returned inside to design our very own superheroes using markers and card cut-outs. The creativity on display was amazing, and every superhero was unique.
We finished the day with a special certificate ceremony, where everyone was proudly presented with a certificate to celebrate successfully passing their superhero training.
What a fantastic day we had full of fun, teamwork, creativity and superhero smiles!
