P2/3 Armagh County Museum Trip
P2/3 enjoyed a trip to Armagh County Museum to take part in their ‘Homes in the Past’ workshop. We liked travelling on the bus with our friends. We saw lots of items which were used long ago-a griddle for cooking, a washboard, washing tongs and mangle for cleaning and drying clothes, a carpet beater to clean mats and a paraffin oil lamp to see when it is dark. We saw some old toys, a wireless radio and a tin bath. We made an art print of the Museum. We completed a treasure hunt quiz by looking carefully around the artefacts on display. P2/3 learned a lot about life in the past during our trip. Thank you to the staff of Armagh County Museum for looking after us and teaching us lots of new information.
