P2/3 have been learning to put words into alphabetical order. Today we took a deep dive into dictionaries! We found out that a dictionary is a book which helps us to spell words and find the meaning of words. We discovered that all the words are listed in alphabetical order with ‘a’ words at the beginning and ‘z’ words at the end of the dictionary. We played ‘Dictionary Dive’. We had to dive into the dictionary and find certain words as quickly as we could. We read the meaning of the words together.
