P2/3 have been learning about the properties of lots of different materials and what they can be used for. We know that some materials are natural and some are man-made. We know that fabric is a soft material and glass is transparent, meaning we can see through it. We put our knowledge to the test today by sorting items into different groups according to the materials they are made from. We had some interesting discussions about the fact that some items can be made from different materials - e.g. cutlery can be made from either metal or plastic. We enjoyed working together to complete our World Around Us task.
