P3 have been continuing our journey through space with some new ABL activities. We have been:
- Building junk art rockets.
- Making our own flying saucers using old CDs, tin foil and a selection of pens and stickers.
- Using Just2easy to introduce us to basic coding by moving a rocket around an outer space background (some of us even managed to use the pen function to trace out our names in space).
- Creating our own aliens using playdough and a selection of pipe cleaners, googly eyes, feathers and other materials.
- Playing a selection of space themed games such as Snakes and Ladders, only this time entitled Asteroids and Astronauts, as well playing a draw along game, designing aliens based on what number was rolled on the dice.
- Constructing constellations using spaghetti and marshmallows.
