This week P3 have been learning all about contractions.
- We searched for them in our reading books.
- Became word surgeons and cut up words, putting them back together again in their shortened form with sticking plasters.
- Played the Beanbag Toss game matching contractions and their longer partners.
- Played contraction dominoes.
- Played the contraction memory game.
We know did not=didn't, could not=couldn't, he is =he's and loads more.
