Rehearsals for our solo poetry performances at the upcoming Dungannon Speech and Drama Festival are well underway. We have enjoyed some drama games which help us to think about adding lots of expression to our voices and our faces. We thought about the ‘word pictures’ created by the poets and drew illustrations to match the meaning of our poems. We have practised saying our poems out loud. We can vary the pace and pitch of our voices to add lots of interesting details to our performances. We are working hard at learning our words. Well done to all of our HPS festival entrants!
