P3 Roots of Empathy π
11th Nov 2025
We had our second Roots of Empathy visit with Baby Arlo and it was all about the theme of crying. We learned that crying is how babies communicate their needs and feelings, and that it’s important to listen and respond to them with care and kindness.
We watched closely to see how Arlo lets his adults know when he needs something. We were excellent observers and noticed the little changes in his face and sounds. The children shared lots of thoughtful ideas about what might make a baby cry and how we can comfort them.
We were also very excited to see that Baby Arlo is nearly able to roll over all by himself! He is getting stronger every week, and we can’t wait to see what he can do next time.
It was another lovely visit filled with learning, empathy, and smiles. ππΆβ¨
