When the Big school gave us some rhubarb last year, we did not know what it was. We had to learn how to plant and look after it. Over the last few months, we have been watering our plants and watching them grow. This week our rhubarb was ready to taste! Mrs Benson helped us cut it up. She took it home and turned it into magic Rhubarb jam. We decided to heat up some custard on our fire to help us taste the rhubarb.
This was the first time for many of us trying rhubarb. Some of us liked it - some didn't. BUT we all loved the custard!!
