Topsy Turvy Day! ⭐️
To celebrate World Mental Health Day, we turned things upside down with a fabulous Topsy Turvy Day at school and what a fun-filled day it was!
We kicked off the day with a peaceful Walk and Talk alongside our P7 buddies. It was lovely to get outside in the fresh air, stretch our legs, and have some great chats. It reminded us how important it is to talk to others and look after our mental wellbeing.
Next up - a special treat! We gathered around the fire pit and made delicious s’mores. There were lots of smiles all round!
We had plenty of time to play with our friends, laughing, running around, and enjoying just being together. It was a great reminder that friendship and fun are so important for our happiness.
In class, we explored our feelings with a Skittles Feelings Game. Each colour helped us talk about different emotions.
And of course, we couldn’t forget the story Mr Topsy Turvy! His silly, mixed-up world gave us lots of giggles and helped us understand that it's okay when things don’t always go perfectly - sometimes it just makes life more interesting!
